Christ-Centered
The congregation at Castlemilk is Christ-centred. He is the centre of our worship as He is the centre of our lives. We take our direction from Him and we direct our lives toward Him. We believe the Bible to be inspired and therefore it is our effort to follow its teachings concerning Him. We have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ's.
Jesus
We believe Jesus to be everything the Bible teaches Him to be: The Son of God and the only hope for salvation. We believe His atoning sacrifice upon the cross is more than adequate. We believe He calls us to Himself and to follow Him, according to the pattern He laid down.
Heb 4:14-16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-- yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV)

Serve Like Christ
Jesus made the startling claim that, "The Son of Man came, not to be served, but to serve...". Since Christ lived a life of service, we too serve. We go under the motto, "Here to serve", using use our talents, time and money to serve each other and the community.
