Getting Here

Our Location
We are in the South side of Glasgow, on the B766. Our address is 465 Carmunnock Rd. Our building is almost at the top of Carmunnock Rd. and we are located left, by the road-side. Coming up the hill, you will see a Catholic Chapel on the left-hand side of the road at the traffic lights. This is the Dougrie Rd. junction. When you go through the lights, go 200 yards and you will see the building on your left. Directly opposite the church, you will see the cream and red coloured Cherry Tree Children's Nursery.

From City Centre (by car)
There are several roads leading out of the town centre that get you to the church. However, navigate your way to Glasgow's Saltmarket, point your car out of town, going south. Continue on this road, you will pass the Glasgow Green public park on your left, just as you leave town. Carry on over the bridge through several sets of lights, shortly you will see the railway arches on your right.

Keep going straight on the main road, till you come to a set of lights with a left hand filter lane, go left here. You are now on Aitkenhead Rd. Continue on this road, after about 600 - 800 yards, the road will bend to the right past the Alcan Foil works. Keep going straight. About half mile along the road, you will pass Asda on your left, then the Kings park Service Station, keep going straight through all the traffic lights. You will shortly come to a mini roundabout, go over the roundabout and take the first exit, you are now on Carmunnock Rd.

Continue up the hill, you will see the public park on your left. As you come down the hill you will see the big roundabout, go over the roundabout, 2nd exit and up the dual carriageway. Once you get to the lights at the top, you will see our building on the left past the Catholic Church.

By Bus
Several buses come to Castlemilk from the City Centre. Buses Leave from the Town Centre at the BHS side of the St. Enoch Centre on Osborne Street. The number 31 goes straight past the church building. Other Castlmilk bound buses will leave you with a 10 to 15 minute walk, depending on the number. If you cannot get the 31, get any other Castlemilk bus and ask the driver to let you off as near as possible to the Dougrie Rd. side of Carmunnock Rd.

You can also get the 37 bus from High St. or Saltmarket in Glasgow town centre. The 37 starts its route from the Springburn area. This bus also goes straight past the church and is more frequent that then 31. Saltmarket is a 5-minute walk from the St. Enoch Centre.

By train
The nearest railway station to the church is quite a distance away. It is recommended to get the train into Glasgow City Centre first, then catch the bus.

By Plane
If you fly directly into Glasgow, it is best to catch a Taxi cab to the church. Exit the terminal building onto the sidewalk and go left to the end of the terminal building. There are plenty of cabs available and will cost around $35 - $50. Alternatively, contact us ahead of time, and we will pick you up.
